Alise Rittershaus
Briefly describe your experience and education:
I began working with kids during high school, volunteering for my local parks and recreation program as well as teaching a youth tennis program. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from Salem State University in 2015. During my time in undergrad I worked with kids to create theatre. I realized just how important all aspects of communication are and the various tools or support children may need to communicate effectively. Following undergrad I received my Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College in 2017.
Why do you love speech therapy?
