Briefly describe your experience and education.
I earned both my B.S. and M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of New Hampshire. During mygraduate program, I had the opportunity to intern at Miracle Farm Speech Therapy, where I gained valuable hands-on experienceworking with children and their families. My time at Miracle Farm helped me grow tremendously as both a clinician and a person, and I am so excited to continue my journey here as I begin my Clinical Fellowship! Throughout my education and clinicalexperiences, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of children and communication needs, further strengthening mypassion for pediatric speech-language pathology.
Why do you love speech therapy?
I love speech therapy because I enjoy helping children grow more confident in their communication and seeing the progress theymake over time. Building meaningful relationships with children and their families while celebrating every milestone, big or small, isincredibly rewarding. I love creating a fun, supportive environment where children feel encouraged to learn, grow, and expressthemselves.
What are your passions outside of work?
Outside of work, I love curling up with a good book alongside my two cats, exploring hiking trails, and spending quality time with myfamily and friends.
What are three words someone would use to describe you?
Compassionate, thoughtful, positive
If you could be any animal, what would it be?
I would be a cat because they always seem to find comfort in the little things—whether that’s soaking up the sunshine or curling upfor a cozy nap!
What is your guilty pleasure?
Playing Fortnite with my friends! It’s one of my favorite ways to unwind after a busy day.
