Should I contact my insurance company prior to scheduling appointments with MFST?

We recommend that you call the member services department of your insurance plan to determine your child’s eligibility. Benefits are related to your specific insurance plan. The member services department will let you know if you have a deductible or copayment, if you will need an authorization or PCP referral. Some forms of speech therapy have a total visit limit. Every insurance plan is different and it is important to request speech therapy benefits under your specific plan.

Should I get a referral from my child’s PCP for speech language services?

MFST recommends that you contact your child’s primary care physician (PCP) and have a referral faxed to us at 603-658-2544.
