Gabrielle Sturgeon, MS, CF-SLP
Education and experience:
I graduated from Northeastern University with my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology in Spring 2026. Throughout graduateschool, I worked with children and adults across a variety of settings, including schools, private practice, outpatient rehabilitation, and university clinics. I have experience supporting children with speech, language, and social communication needs, and Iespecially enjoy using play-based therapy to help children learn and grow. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportiveenvironment where children feel heard, valued, and excited to come to speech!
Why I love speech therapy:
Speech therapy has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As someone who attended speech therapy as a child, Ihave the unique perspective of both the client and now the therapist. I really fell in love with the field during my undergraduateinternship at Miracle Farms in 2022, where I was introduced to Joanne and play-based therapy. I love creating a safe, fun, andengaging environment where children can learn, grow, and build confidence in their communication skills!
Outside of work:
Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends, family, and my dogs! I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new places, floating in just about any body of water, and reading a good book!
Three words:
Empathetic, encouraging, and bubbly
Any animal:
I’d be a dolphin, I love the ocean!
