Josephina Debicki
Briefly describe your experience and education:
I graduated from Ball State University with a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2021 and a M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023. After graduation, I decided to move to the New England area and had the amazing opportunity to join MFST! As a graduate clinician, I had the opportunity to work in various settings with clients across a lifespan, but I’ve always enjoyed working with children using our creativity and imagination. In my time providing services, I feel it has been incredibly rewarding providing a fun and engaging environment for growth and speech-language development to little ones!
Why do you love speech therapy?
Speech therapy is one of the most rewarding fields and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I love that it allows me to have fun and use creativity while helping kids build on their own functional skills.
What are your passions outside of work?
I love playing volleyball/staying active, spending time with friends/family, and doing art such as painting or crocheting!
